Autism Outsider Art
Here is a large folk art lot of original vintage 1950-1960 (early sixties) children or juvenile artwork of about 30 to 35 original drawing compositions contained in two large hand-made folder portfolios all done by a young lad named David Bloodgood.
The origin of these drawings
come from the doctor Mc Donald, (U.W Autism Center, Washington D.C), that
I acquired from a local estate a while back and include everything from
portrait to abstract renderings drawings most done with crayon and some
using pastels with 22 large pieces that measure 12 x 18 each, the others
are smaller 9 x 12 drawings, there are also some simple juvenile naïve collage
cut-out pieces and a hand-made booklet titled "My Book" with 8 crayon drawings
inside. Many of the drawings are signed Dave, David or "David B".
