COLAN HARDIN
(1908-2002)

Colan Hardin was a self-taught woodworker who built approximately thirty-six different pieces of woodworking machinery, saws, duplicators etc. used in his shop. He spent a lifetime building furniture as well as refinishing and repairing antiques. For fun, Mr. Hardin loved to make an array of Folk art items.

Group of ten drawings. The subjects depicted are parents and friends. The artist used mixed media as pencil and colored pencils. These portraits can be dated 1950. The frames were created by the artist.

They have been sold by the Hardin family.
